Last updated 19 October 2026 · Applies to Mosaic-CCTV for Mac, iPhone and iPad
Mosaic-CCTV is published by Juvex Oy, Finland. The short version: the app has no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, and it sends nothing about you or your cameras to Juvex or anyone else.
Mosaic-CCTV connects only to the cameras and video recorders (NVRs) that you add to it, at the addresses you enter, usually on your own local network. Video, sound, recordings and camera settings travel directly between your device and your cameras. There is no Juvex server in between, and no cloud service is used.
None of this is copied to Juvex. Removing a camera in the app also deletes its password, and deleting the app from an iPhone or iPad removes everything it stored.
The Help menu opens this website, and the camera editor can open a public database of camera stream addresses. These open in your web browser and are covered by those sites’ own policies; the app itself sends nothing to them.
If you test Mosaic-CCTV on iPhone or iPad through Apple’s TestFlight, Apple shares with us the name and email address you were invited with, and the crash reports, screenshots and feedback you choose to send through TestFlight. We use these only to fix and improve the app. Apple’s own handling of TestFlight data is described in Apple’s privacy policy.
The app is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date. Questions about privacy: see Juvex Oy’s contact details.
